Principal’s Message

Thank you to everyone for making our end of the year celebrations and traditions a huge success.
Graduation is behind us now, as are the other major events for the 2014-2015 school year—and I have enjoyed them all. Thank you for giving our seniors such an outrageously spirited send-off last Tuesday.  Among the tears and laughter was a wonderful spirit of camaraderie and appreciation for one another. Congratulations to the Class of 2015!

Tomorrow is our last official day.  We will start with a Pancake Breakfast in the commons at

8:30 a.m.  The staff will have “stations” set up to prepare pancakes galore—almost every imaginable type of pancake is offered.  We will have delicious, fresh-squeezed orange juice again, courtesy of the Robins and Stemen families, and condiments such as syrup, whipped cream, and butter for your pancakes.  Come enjoy it and take the last opportunity of the school year to socialize with your friends and staff.

Students, please read the New Announcements section in this week’s NOTAM.  There are a number of information and action items that require your attention before heading into the summer.

We have enjoyed a tremendously successful year, and thank you for making a RAHS a wonderful place to learn.  Please enjoy your summer, be safe, and remember to take inventory of all the blessings around you.

The Principal’s Round of Applause—acknowledging those who make RAHS a better place!

Dr. Katims—for a wonderful graduation speech, Senior to Senior!

Ms. Nurzhanov and Ms. Juarez—for being superb graduation coordinators.

Mr. Hiranaka—for preparing and editing the graduation insert, your dedication is appreciated.

Ms. McCormick—for finding a vendor to fold the graduation inserts, and ensuring we had them on time!

Ms. Evans, Mr. Jerome, and Ms. Torres—for serving as chaperones for the Satellite Team’s trip to Planetary Resources.

Honored to serve as your Principal—Bruce Kelly
