ASB

Kindness Week:

Monday 1st: Patience:

Ask someone what their thoughts or opinions are before sharing your own.

In a conversation today, find an opportunity to ask someone what they think about a project, an idea, an event, a class, a game, etc. Bonus points if you resist sharing your own thoughts and remain open to their views.

Tuesday 2nd: Respect

Identify one person in your school or family who has served or is serving in the military. Thank that person for her/his service.

Even if you don't know someone directly, odds are good that an adult at your school has served our country.

Wednesday 3rd: Selflessness

Near the end of lunch, go to a nearby table and offer to take anything anyone is ready to throw away.

Don't pull their snack pack before they are finished, but offer to grab anything that is garbage. You can start with your own table first!

Thursday 4th: Kindness

Give genuine compliments to five people you notice throughout the day.

This should be a mixture of friends and strangers. Look for people picking up trash or holding the door open and thank them for their thoughtfulness. Look for some unique style or clothing. Observe how your lunch server or bus driver interacts with you.

Friday 5th: Humility

Throughout the day, give out a help to a friend who needs help with homework or anything at all.

ASB is starting a project to create a mural on the parking-lot side wall of our spirit shack! We are looking for artistic individuals to create a design focused on our mascot and school spirit. Submissions are due to Mrs. Fitz no later than FRIDAY, and can be drawn, painted or of course done in CAD. Get creative!

As always come see what your ASB is up to in Mrs. Fitz's room at lunch on Wednesdays to see what cool stuff we're planning, and to give us your input!

Spirit Shack

Open Fridays during lunch.
